Help get Harper a special needs bike of her own!

Hi, My name is Megan, and I am fundraising for my little girl Harper.

Harper is 4 years old, and she has been diagnosed with a rare genetic condition, Hypotonic quadriplegic cerebral palsy, due to anterior bilateral cysts with leukoencephalopathy and lots more, but let's face it, nobody can even say a lot of those words!

When we were told of her diagnosis, we were told that she would never talk, walk, eat, breathe or really do anything on her own. But we were having none of that. So we started a full regime of therapy, and not while her muscles are still very weak compared to other 4 year olds, she is crawling and starting to talk, learning Auslan and making lots of friends at daycare. She is one clever cookie who can problem solve like no other. She is determined, she is independent in every way that she can be, and I know she has dreams that she wants to achieve.

Right now, her dream is to have a bike of her own. Her little sister has a bike and they are both eager to go riding around the park together. However, the bike that Harper needs to support her costs more than my first car did.

I am hoping that together we will be able to get my little girl the supportive bike that she needs, so that she can go riding and exploring with her sister and friends and have the same fun as all the other little kids her age.
