Mr. and Mrs. Raney were at the Discount grocery store on March 31st when Mr. Raney was attacked and stabbed. This happened in broad daylight in downtown Big Spring, Texas. Mr. Raney is 94 years old. He was taken to our local hospital, Scenic Mountain Medical. Due to his medication, they could not provide him with the best medical attention and he was transported to Lubbock, Texas. Harold Raney and his sweet bride Ida Lou, are on a fixed income and could use some help.

Mr. Haney made it through a 4-hour surgery for the stab wounds. He is now receiving therapy. As with anyone in this age group, recovery takes much longer.
