Harold Edward Gunn

The world lost this beautiful spirit just recently. Whether you liked Harold, or you did not, and whether he gave you the impression that he did not like you, he did.
We ask that you remember a time that you spent with Harold, whether it be really early in his youth, his hard-working construction days, or any other time that you spent with him. Remember how he made you smile. Remember how he loved to be around you. That was the "true" Harold.
The days of hate in his heart were through. He could not push his mind in the way of disliking anyone, no matter the infraction. Although it was a great, great fault of his, please know that he would have done anything within his power to help you if you were reaching out.
Today, his family is reaching out. Harold was stricken with a hernia surgery, and debilitating back issues that eventually landed him unemployed for several months. He had been working and progressing feverishly in the right direction, up until that point, to leave his past in the past, and to move on; working and paying his way towards a more secure future. Harold struggled. There was no room for savings or insurance.
Any money that you could donate to this fund will go towards laying our dear friend to rest- something that his soul deserves, finally.
We are asking if you can help in any way to help the family lay Harold to rest and consider donating to help pay for a proper funeral . Should donations exceeds funeral costs, we also be using this fund to settle up and make things right with his understanding landlord. She understood Harold's situation and allowed him to remain in his apartment until he resumed work. We know that he would make good on his debts with everyone, that is just the man that he grew to be.
This man made his mistakes, we all know that. But he was on a brighter road to redemption when fate struck.
We ask that you consider his daughter, and remaining family that he left behind. Anything that you could give would be greatly appreciated.
