Harmony Baseball Academy – Building a Brighter Future for Young People in Cameroon

Every child deserves the opportunity to dream, learn and belong.

Harmony Baseball Academy is a youth development organisation based in Yaoundé, Cameroon, using baseball as a tool to change lives. Through sport, we provide young people with coaching, mentorship, education and a safe environment where they can build confidence, discipline and hope for the future.

What started with one coach and a handful of children has grown into a movement that is inspiring young people across Cameroon.

Our Vision

Our vision is far bigger than baseball.

We are working towards building a dedicated sports and education complex where children can train safely, receive mentoring, attend educational workshops and develop life skills that will benefit them for years to come.

We believe sport has the power to keep children engaged in education, away from crime and poverty, and connected to positive role models.

Why We’re Increasing Our Goal

Thanks to the incredible generosity of our supporters, we’ve already raised thousands of dollars.

Rather than stopping at our original goal, we’re raising our target to $20,000 so we can expand our impact beyond one championship and continue investing in children throughout the coming year.

Every additional donation allows us to reach more communities, support more children and move one step closer to creating a permanent home for Harmony Baseball Academy.’

Over the past year, I have connected with Coach Arsel Giowou of the Harmony Baseball Academy. What he has been doing to grow the game of baseball in Cameroon is simply incredible.
