This is Harmony, shes 11, and like her parents she's found a love in the sport of paintball. She loves the adrenaline and she loves too battle with friends and family on the paintball field, and had made a name for herself as a tough opponent on the battle field, but behind the scenes also battles against some health issues she has on a day to day basis. 

Harmony has Chiari malformation and its a problem located at the base of the skull where the spinal chord meets the brain, This condition occurs when the brain grows and extends into that opening and puts a lot pressure on the spinal cord
This can lead to many symptoms and problems, and this gets worst over time,  as the brain grows the more intense those symptoms become.

Harmony is already suffering from a range of those symptoms, and has recently become partially deaf due to this condition. She is scheduled to go into surgery sometime soon.

Her second condition is Ehlers-Danlos syndromes. This is a group of rare inherited conditions that affect connective tissue in your body. Connective tissues provide support in skin, tendons, ligaments, blood vessels, internal organs and bones. This allows Harmony's joints to over extend and dislocate, and she has learned to relocate her hip, leg and arms should one dislocate. Imagine having to do this at the age of 11.

They are not sure what date her surgery will be but Its harmony's 12th birthday on the 20th of august, and i wanted to do something special for her. I asked her parents to set up a PO box to her a birthday card or gift. put a little personal message in there for her or anything. and send her as much positive energy as you can.

Harmony also will need a lot of help in her rehabilitation after the surgery, her parents want to custom make some special paintball gear to protect her when she plays.  that if you want to donate something to contribute towards getting her some new gear, protection clothing, physio therapy she might need or rehabilitation equipment to help her on her journey.

We spoke on the video chat, and i asked her why she loves paintball,
and what she hopes to achieve. she wants to raise awareness for the conditions she has. and she also wants more kids and girls to play paintball.
