Harmony Health has already provided over 40 clients with Free or Low Cost Services. Due to Covid19, many of our counseling interns were required to leave the agency which impacted already vulnerable families. Harmony Health Continues to get calls and partner referrals seeking these services. While Harmony Health is now training additional counseling interns to provide these limited services, we'd like to serve more families. In addition, Harmony Health has established partnerships to provide additional resources to these vulnerable families such as Free Raised Garden Beds to promote self sustainability and using gardening as a therapeutic tool. Harmony Health has also sponsored providing families with free Instruments to Use as a Healing Tool. Harmony Health holds an Annual Family and Friends Community Event to promote and bring awareness to Mental Health and Wellness by bringing Community Resources together for families to connect with, Free Food, Healing Drums Circles, Giveaways, Healthy Activities, and School Supplies.
To Continue our Community Connections, Harmony Health has decided to raise funds for its Community to provide these services needed mental health services. We are asking for the Community's Help to continue the work we began, but to expand it. WE would like to provide an additional 25 persons with at least 6 months of mental health services for the next year. Our goal is to gain momentum to seek additional sponsors and supports to continue providing services to vulnerable families.
Harmony Health, PLLC Therapeutic Services [Harmony Health], "The Community's Home for Healing", is a behavioral health practice created to improve the mental health and overall well-being of those served. Harmony Health, PLLC Therapeutic Services’ mission is “To improve the quality of life for families through a holistic approach in mental and emotional wellness”.
Harmony Health Therapeutic Services’ philosophy is to recognize the client and natural supports as the experts. Our clinicians are professionals and serve as a guide and resource for the family as we partner on your healing journey. Harmony Health is both trauma-informed and healing centered. We believe in advocating for those we serve. Our perception is that families are not broken but are missing pieces to their puzzle. Harmony Health’s goal is to help them put the pieces back together again.
We have a history of serving vulnerable populations. Harmony Health began its Community Connections Program to serve those without insurance, under insured, and low income families. This program provides free and low cost services to these families who need it the most. Services include individual, family, or group therapy and case management services to assess for needs or barriers to treatment. During these times of Covid19 and racial injustices, we have found many more persons within these vulnerable communities are struggling to obtain the services they need. More families are seeking services with few options to provide Culturally Humble services with a Trauma-Informed framework.
You can help us attain that. During these times of high stress, trauma and unpredictability, suicide rates are increasing, violence and abuse has dramatically increased and the ability to maintain employment has decreased as a result of high symptoms of anxiety and depression.
Your contribution will be part of Harmony Health's Contingency fund for those without resources to pay for these services to help families restore balance, start the healing to become healthier participants in society.
