As a Grandpa, I believe in God, service, and family. As a first responder and Masonic Shriner, I have helped many kids over 35 years of service but don't know how to help my own grandchild.
In the last 45 days, my 19-year-old grandson, Harley, had a large growth removed, malignant with Hodgkin's Lymphoma. Harley was diagnosed at an early age with a learning disability and, as of high school graduation this summer, graduated with an honors ribbon for radio and broadcasting. Two months after starting technical college, Harley has had his world crash around him with a diagnosis confirming cancer. He is starting chemotherapy this week followed by radiation therapy, leading to a lengthy road to recovery.
I humbly ask for any prayers and any help Harley may be able to receive through this GoFundMe posting for any unforeseen costs associated with the treatments and recovery, outside whatever his insurance will cover.
