Well guys....Harley did it. She tore her acl again. I hate this for her. Even though she’s in a great deal of pain she’s still managing to be her happy needy self. There’s a procedure called Extracapsular Lateral Suture Stabilization (ELSS) that she can get that would greatly help her but of course it isn’t cheap. Just a year ago Harley underwent surgery to repair the tear in her other leg. Most dogs tear the opposite leg’s ligament within the first year of the initial tear and sadly Harley didn’t beat the odds. I know I’m usually begging for my rescue’s dogs but today I’m hoping some of my peeps are able to help me out with my little hippos much needed surgery.
