Harley Ratliff Funeral Expenses

I'm Grace Music, Harley was one of my closest cousins. Haley, his sister, being another I thought no one better to tell his story than her. "For those of you who don’t know I lost my big brother today. Harley was many things. To some he was harlo, he was also a father, a son, a grandson, and a brother to many(myself included). I’m sure there are many other titles he went by but those are the ones that come to my mind first.
I won’t tell you that my brother was a great person and a upstanding citizen. But he had his moments. It reminds me of a quote “ a hero would sacrifice you to save the world, but a villain would sacrifice the world to save you”. My brother would do anything in his power for his friends and family. He was a big butt sometimes but I know if I needed him he’d come through. We fought like cats and dogs but when I came down to it we had each other’s back. I have a bunch of memories with Harley and I’ll share a few of them.
The day that I got to walk across the stage for graduation. I didn’t get all of my cords at the bottom of the hill at the high school. When I realized I panicked and Harley ran down the hill and got them for me in time to walk the stage.
My junior year I had a awful prom. When I got home I was so sad because nothing had gone right that evening. Harley put on one of my dresses and danced and karaoked with me and Paige. Which really saved the night.
One of my favorite memories was when Harley had just got a cup of milk and was walking back from the kitchen. Misty (our cat) was attacking our dogs. Misty done got Charley (our female wrottie) and was trying to catch Sanu (our male wrottie). Sanu ran to Harley and Harley ran from Sanu. Harley tossed his phone and jumped over a chair to get around the table faster than Sanu. Misty finally caught Sanu but it was great watching the small moment of chaos.
There are so many memories of bub. But him singing and dancing were probably my favorites. I’ve seen him rap battle with gabby and wail just about every type of music with josh.
Currently I am okay, but my one regret is not saying goodbye and I love you the last day I saw him. I was sick and focused on doing my homework. I missed him when he pulled out of the driveway.
Harley once told me he’d rather have a party than a funeral when he died. So I’m trying my best not to cry because I know he’d laugh if he saw me.
If you have a funny story you’d like to share about my brother, I would love to hear it. If you have any casket worthy pictures of my brother I’d love to have those too. Thank y’all again for those of you keeping my family in your thoughts and those of you who’ve reached out." - Haley D. Ratliff (sister of the deceased)
