Hello! I'm Amanda; I'm married to my Husband Robin; and we have two pets; Beans the Cat and Harley the Dog.

Earlier in the year, we were very sad to say goodbye to our senior cat, Pheen. We were so thankful for the help we got, but it depleted a lot of our savings.

Today, we found out our dog Harley needs some teeth removed; he has a benign tumour on his teeth and while it's not going to cause him pain now, they said we'll aim to do the surgery sometime in February/March.

Rob and I will be making a lot of sacrifices to save up and afford this surgery: depending on how many teeth they have to take out, it can range between $2,300 and $2,800. We're going to save but, we are a single income household and Robin is disabled (waiting for an MRI, to which we're already spending $1,000 to do!)

We won't ask folks to help out with the entirety of the cost! We're more than happy to cut where we can, save, save, save, and already have plans.

That said: if you are interested in helping this sweet boy get surgery, we would love your help! We priced our goal at 25% of what we need. Anymore than our goal will go towards taking a bit more of the edge off!
