My name is Louise. I live in London with my 3 dogs, one of which is my beautiful flashy white and brindle boxer Blu.

I’m starting this request for my best friend Caroline. We met nearly 10 years ago whilst organising Boxer Dog play dates in London and the South East of Kent.

Over the years we have helped many charities to raise funds for animals now it is my time to ask for your help.

Caroline has a beautiful Boxer called Harley who is Blu’s half sister. We meet for walks regularly and they get on so well.

During these last 8 months Caroline had the most saddest and traumatic time.

Her lovely little cat Scruffy became I’ll and passed away. Then only weeks later her beloved boxer Archie became really poorly and after his veterinary treatment didn’t work she had to say goodbye and let him cross rainbow bridge to be with scruffy.

Caroline also has a wonderful little pug called Buddy. He is the life and soul of the party! Only weeks after loosing Archie, poor buddy developed an ulcer in his eye and after weeks of veterinary treatment he then had to have it removed.

Then Harley went lame on her back leg. She had cried out in pain whilst walking down the stairs at home. So Caroline took her to the vets and after costly tests and treatment they confirmed that she has torn her cruciate ligament and she will need surgery (TPLO) urgently to repair it. This comes at a huge cost of £4800.

We are fundraising and doing all sorts of things to raise money for this operation but as you can imagine, after all the money that Caroline has spent for Scruffy, Archie and Buddy she is financially broken.

She would never ask for help so this is why I have decided to ask on her behalf. Harley will be having her procedure on Friday 16th October.

We understand that times are hard at the moment for everyone but by making a donation towards Harley’s operation would mean so much to us.
