Harley J. is an aspiring professional dancer and actress from Lithonia, Georgia. Recently, she was accepted to the Debbie Allen Dance Academy Summer Intensive, a revered, four-week dance training program in Los Angeles. Harley was also invited to tour with a Las Vegas-based national dance convention as a teacher assistant. Additionally, she was asked to perform as a dancer in the opening ceremony for the Beta Club National Convention in Louisville, Kentucky.

Harley began formal dance training at the age of two at Triple 7 Dance Studio in Snellville, Georgia. By the age of five, Harley had earned an invitation to join their first-ever Mini Company. Since then, Harley has moved up from Mini Company to Petite Company and now Junior Company. During the week, she trains extensively in ballet, tap, modern, jazz, hip-hop and tumbling. In addition to dancing, Harley also enjoys acting. She was cast as a 'Munchkin' and 'Citizen' in "The Wiz", presented by Triple 7 Dance Studio.

When Harley is not performing, she devotes much of her time to her academic studies; she's a high-achieving, straight-A scholar! Last fall, Harley was inducted into the National Junior Beta Club, where she serves as Treasurer. Harley is also a member of her school's step team and is a proud safety patrol. She's been recognized as 'Best Reader', 'Most Creative', 'Best Speller' and 'Citizen of the Month.'

Harley is active in her community. She often campaigns during local elections and uses her gifts to serve others. Harley attends Transforming Faith Church where she's a member of the Living in Transformation (L.I.T.) Student Ministry. She has three siblings and is a superb little and big sister!

Harley plans to become a professional dancer and actress. She'd love to one day perform in a Broadway production and with the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater. The Debbie Allen Dance Academy Summer Intensive, along with the national convention tour, would propel her craft, allowing Harley to be closer to achieving her dreams!
