Harlem Xpress Girls Basketball Team

Hi there,

I'm Coach X and I have a passion for helping people, kids in particular.

Harlem Xpress was created to develop youth as student-athletes as well as:

1. Get them athletic advertisements and exposure

2. Help them increase their environmental and cultural awareness by playing basketball throughout diverse, cultural, communities throughout the tri-state area

3. Increase their value for diversity through exposure to said communities

4. Use basketball to help increase their emotional, mental and social wellness

5. Enhance their Self-confidence through the game of basketball as well as introduce productivity through individual and group social and physical activities

6. Demonstrate respect for induvial differences in different activities and environments

7. Assist the girls with self-assessment and taking responsibility for personal behavior and stress management
