Hardy "Tony" Gilbert Memorial & Scholarship Fund
Donation protected
Hardy A. Gilbert, or Tony as many of us knew him, died unexpectedly on June 13, 2020.
Times spent with Tony meant listening to his animated stories about his three amazing daughters, Celina, Brianna, and Amaya, his wife (my cousin), Marisol, hearing his infectious laughter, and usually getting a taste of one of his delicious recipes. Tony made everyone feel welcome in whatever circle he was in and would make an effort to get a chuckle or two out of each of us. Tony was game for just about anything, whether literal games like Phase 10 and Guitar Hero, a trip to the beach (fishing poles in tow of course), or a jaunt up to the Northeast...Philly, New York, or Martha's Vineyard.
Tony gave his time selflessly, whether supporting his girls in their various activities, or teaching his extended family his latest cooking tips, or helping his neighbors and coworkers with life's unexpected events. Tony was a planner, spending time researching every facet of an upcoming adventure or toy, but he could not have planned for this, his early and unexpected departure from all of our lives.
You can honor Tony by contributing to a fund to help support his beloved daughters, Celina, Brianna, and Amaya, and their future aspirations. Whether Tony was your friend, coworker, mentor, neighbor, or family member, you can contribute to his legacy by donating.
Please donate what you are able, and in the comments, leave a word or phrase about who Tony was and what he meant to you. Thank you.
