I never imagined I’d be in this situation. I’ve always worked hard, supported myself, and done everything I needed to do to keep a stable home. But I’m in a temporary hardship after losing my income, and despite applying for job after job, I’ve fallen behind on my rent.
My landlord has been patient, but I now need to raise $3,200 by November 20 and another $3,200 by December 1 to avoid eviction. This is a short-term setback — not a long-term issue. Once I’m working again, I will be back on my feet like I have always been.
Anything raised above the rent amount will go directly toward essential bills such as car tags, insurance, and my car payment. Without my car, I can’t continue job searching or get to interviews.
I know the holidays are coming, and many people are stretched thin right now. But life happens to all of us, even those who work hard and rarely ask for anything. If you’ve ever been in a moment where you were doing everything you could but still fell behind, you understand how this feels.
If you can help — even a small amount — it would mean the world. And if you can’t donate, simply sharing this helps more than you know.
Thank you for taking the time to read this. Thank you for understanding. And thank you for helping me hold onto my home during this difficult moment.
