Hardworking Father of Six with Stage 4 Cancer

UPDATE: "Any Money Donated Past The Goal Will Be Used To Assist Leonard And Alisha When They Return Home From Their Three Week Stay At The Holistic Treatment Facility” My big brother Leonardo, "Leo" as he likes to be called, was recently diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. About two months ago Leo felt a pain in his back which he thought was just from working on his house in Idaho, but as the pain became almost unbearable he soon found out it was stage 4 metastatic cancer. By the time the cancer was diagnosed it had already spread throughout most of his body. He has several tumors, the largest being on his liver. He also has tumors on his kidneys, lungs and lower colon.  The cancer has now caused slow internal bleeding and worrisome blood clots. Leo and his wife Alisha are completley devastated.  Leo is 49 years old and has been married to Alisha for the last 20 plus years, they have 4 biological and two adopted children. Leonardo has always done his best to help those around him. He volunteered for over 5 years at his local church in Wildomar, CA and became an official member of his congregation. When Leo learned of a family member unable to care for her two children Leo and his wife Alisha decided to foster and later adopt the two young children, who were 4 and 5 at the time. The adoptive children are Eden who is now 9 and Thomas who is now 10.  Their biolgical children are Melanie, Monique and their twin boys Joshua and Jeremiah. With Leo now not being able to work or help around the house, his wife is bearing all of the load, they cannot afford the needed treatment recomended by their doctor or pay for basic needs.  I am starting this gofundme for them, hoping to collect a little more than our family can give on our own. Leo and Alisha currently have all six kids living at home with them. Alisha is working from home, but with the added stress of the current coronavirus and her needing to take an active role in caring for Leo, it has become a very heavy burden. I am trying to help in anyway I can. With the donated money we will be giving it to Leo and Alisha to help cover medical bills as well as giftcards for food for the family, gas to and from the hospital and any future stresses they happen to run into. They need these funds by Monday May 11th to cover the next step on his pending treatment process.  These funds will allow Leo and his wife Alisha to cover the needed treatment which must be implimented immidiatley to have the best possible chance for recovery.
