Hardship fund for regularisation scheme fees

Donation protected
We're raising money to establish a hardship fund to help undocumented migrants pay the new Regularisation Scheme application fees. The Scheme will open in January and remain open for only six months.

What is the Regularisation Scheme?
The Regularisation Scheme is a once in a generation opportunity for undocumented migrants in Ireland to regularise their status and be allowed to live and work legally in Ireland. This comes after years of hard work and campaigning - much of which was done by undocumented migrants themselves.

Why is a hardship fund needed?

To apply for the scheme undocumented people must pay an application fee. The fee for families is €700 and for individuals it's €550. From our work, we know that many undocumented families and individuals live in poverty and will struggle to afford the fees. For those in abusive relationships or exploitative workplaces, the fees may make it impossible to apply.

We do not want anyone to lose out on the opportunity to apply for the Scheme because they cannot afford to do so. This hardship fund will be administered by Nasc and used exclusively towards payment of regularisation fees.
