Hello,
I am writing and hoping the community can come together and help this wonderful Ukrainian family, Inna, Eugene, Diana and Oleg.
As a parent and human being, I can’t imagine having to leave behind my entire life, home, car, career and loved ones over something that was outside of my control… yet that is the reality for this sweet hardworking Ukrainian family. Being pushed out of my country for a war that affected thousands. Losing everything I loved, having to my move my children and whole life to protect myself and my family is something of a nightmare, but reality for them.
Fate brought me into contact with this family when we were looking for help completing some projects as we have special needs kids and time is limited for us. This family showed up, hard-working, kind, and so positive through everything that they’ve been through. They have shared a little bit about their story with us as they’ve been here working hard for 8+ hours a day, just trying to make enough money to make ends meet, buy a car so they can keep working, and keep a positive outlook on the situation all at the same time.
My heart breaks when she talks about things that they’ve been through, most recently being ripped off when buying a car off Facebook that broke down minutes after purchasing. They worked so hard to save money for this car so they could work, and all those months of saving are gone.
The car broke down minutes after the purchase, and they are again working 2-3 jobs a day to replace the transmission on a car that they bought, expecting the man to be honest, when it ended up being a 4,500$ lemon. The man who sold it, refused to give the money back and took advantage of the sweet family and their unfortunate situation.
if I had the means to buy this family a car today, I would do it in a heartbeat. They are so kind and so hard-working, they even showed up to the job. We are having them do with treats for my children. The sadness I see in Her eyes is heartbreaking, and their utmost determination and motivation to keep going. It’s so inspirational, and I feel like they deserve a handout for everything that they’ve been through.
this family is cooking, cleaning, painting, doing odds, and in jobs from 8 o’clock in the morning to 10 o’clock at night every single day, just trying to get stability after losing everything.
although they are being sponsored, I think that this family deserves more attention and more traction, and deserves some money to be able to purchase a good work in vehicle, and help afford expenses and reaching out to my wonderful community because I know that if you met this family or saw how hard they would work, you would be compelled to help them too.
I’m hoping that this money can bring them some relief and that they they can get on their feet as they deserve that and 100 times more.
this is written by Inna, the wife:
”My name is Inna, I'm 40, for the last 13 years I've been helping people and children who find themselves in a difficult situation, this is a large organization in which there are a lot of volunteers "I help children", in addition to this, I had a founded job where I was the head of the "ECO Children" company surrogate motherhood egg donation, the main direction is to help couples who have been on the road to motherhood for a long time, I helped people from different countries and really miss my job. I really want to continue this activity in the United States and it was in Colorado, where people became like family to me, I met many people with an open heart who impress me very much. My husband worked as the head of a company that worked with online orders for drugs that are not publicly available. From the first days of the war, we helped people who were left without a home and migrated to our city, prepared food for them, helped with housing and clothing. After a while, we decided that our son should leave, since young boys began to be drafted into the war, we were very scared and my friend sponsored my son and he left, after half a year I arrived and a month ago my husband, since I live in Ukraine it became impossible, the work died one day. Therefore, we decided to start a new life in another country. It is difficult, of course, but we, like babies, are trying to develop. Open to any suggestions!”
let’s show this wonderful family what it means to be in a community and country that cares, loves, and comes together for those in need. We are all they have right now.
if you would like to donate to them directly outside of the GoFundMe, or if you would like to hire them for any sort of jobs, please contact me or my wife at 3 0 3 5 1 4 1 3 8 2.
Every cent raised will go towards helping them and their new life, and hopefully being able to get a new car so they can continue to do what they need to for their family.
thank you
