A Mom in need of financial support and prayers!

Meet my childhood best friend, Krista. She is a beautiful, kind, loving, funny, single mom of 2
teens who could use financial assistance from anyone willing to help.
From the outside looking in, it seems like Krista has the perfect, beautiful life but social media
snapshots are not always reality. Behind closed doors, I think more of us struggle than we prefer to admit.
Krista left a toxic marriage 2 years ago and has been raising her children full time on her own
since. When her divorce was finalized she was told that her husband had not paid taxes in over 5 years. Since they filed jointly and he had been telling Krista he was paying them, she had no idea that they owed $80,000 to the IRS.
Krista did what she felt was best for her children and moved to Florida to be close to her family. She started her own business and is currently working
multiple jobs to make ends meet but is still in great financial distress. She is paying what she can each month but is not able to provide for her children as she wishes she could and is falling farther behind in debt.
Her ex husband owes her $40,000 in child support and is not able to provide any financial
assistance. The IRS has levied her multiple times and is currently coming after her for $25,000.Although she is working two jobs she has had to ask family to help pay her rent.
On top of the financial stress she is already under, she has been doing the best to aid in the mental health of her children. Her daughter is being bullied at school and after a terrifying incident last night, her son was taken to a mental health care in a facility away from home. Her insurance deductibles are outrageous and without our help, she will not be able to pay for future medicalexpenses to help him receive the treatments he needs. Mental health is a real thing and after an abusive marriage, digging her way out of the trauma, saving her children from further trauma she has not once asked her friends for help. She bravely and humbly shared her story with friends and family last night. Please if you have the means to help in any way, please find it in your heart to donate to this beautiful soul and her children.
She has always been there for friends and family in need and would never ask for help on her
own which is why I am doing it for her. When I asked Krista permission to share her story and
start a GoFundMe, she burst into tears and was humbled and accepting. I know many people
keep asking how they can help her and this is how!!!!
She has been denied innocent spouse relief, owes almost $10,000 in fees to law firms related to fighting the IRS, receives no child support and just got her account emptied from a tax levy 2 weeks ago.
At some point in our lives we have all struggled and had others step in and lift us back up. Let's be that someone for Krista. Any small amount makes a difference and all money raised will go directly to Krista and her family. Please give what you can and keep her and her family close to your heart and in your prayers.
