Widowed single Mom needs help for a 2nd time as she battles for her life. Robin is 53 years old and is the sole caregiver for her son Charlie who is on the Autism spectrum.

Their family has struggled emotionally and financially after the passing of Robin's husband Chuck who was her soul mate. Chuck battled brain cancer for many years and was in remission at one point before it returned leaving the family absolutely devastated. Chuck was a dedicated Father, husband, EMT and volunteer firefighter.

Robin, as a widow, is the sole provider for herself and her son.

Robin was recently diagnosed in May (2024) with stage 4 metastatic breast cancer which has spread to her lymph nodes and liver.

Robin has under gone multiple tests, procedures, special scans and biopsies. She is also taking 3 different chemo medications.

Due to her chemo Robin has needed to take off from work. The treatments have left her tired, physically/emotionally drained, sick to her stomach and wondering what the future will be like for her son. He's already lost 1 parent and is terrified of loosing his Mom. This is too much for 1 family to deal with on their own.

Robin is an Intermediate Treatment Assistant at a local hospital and has to work due to needing health insurance coverage and being the sole source of income for herself and her son, Charlie. She's taken care of so many people during her health care career and now she's the one that needs support.

Before Chuck passed the family needed to move since the home they were living in was sold. They have always stuck together through thick and thin. The Hardy's are tough, but everyone has a breaking point and there are times when you need help.

Looking ahead Robin will have to undergo:

• double breast surgery

• removal of lymph nodes

• possible liver surgery

• extended time off work while recovering
