UPDATE: Dear Supporters,
We extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who participated in this year’s Annual Pediatrics Primary Care Adopt-A-Family Holiday Donation Drive. Our families were deeply moved and surprised by the immense love and generosity shown to their children during this season of giving and need.
For those who donated anonymously, please know that we are happy to provide a tax-deductible receipt for your contributions. If you would like one, kindly reach out to us using the "Contact" button.
Thank you once again for your kindness, and we wish you and your loved ones a joyful holiday season.
Warm regards,

Annual Pediatrics Primary Care Adopt-A-Family Holiday Donation Drive
Help us to fulfill wishlists for families who could use some extra encouragement this season!
We are a safety net hospital that serves low-income families in Los Angeles County.
Many of the families nominated from our primary care clinics have experienced parental illness, job loss, food insecurity, and housing uncertainty. They are working tremendously hard to make ends meet.
Several families have already been identified. Here are some examples:
• A 4 month old baby boy whose 18-year-old mom is navigating life after the sudden loss of his dad in early October.: They now live with loving maternal grandmother who is working hard to support this intergenerational family.
• An 8 year old boy with autism and cognitive impairments, his 2 year old younger brother, and 13 year older brother with serious mental illness: They and their hardworking parents squeeze into a single bedroom with extended family members. Their mother was diagnosed with a serious medical illness and will undergo surgery in December, putting her out of commission to care for the children and work for now.
• An 18 year old young man with autism and severe cognitive impairments requiring around the clock supervision and his 21 year old sister who also has autism and epilepsy: Both parents work alternating day and night shifts to provide caregiving for their children, while living out of a motel. Their father was hospitalized this summer due to a catastrophic illness and still struggles physically to move about and work.
A contribution of ANY AMOUNT is greatly appreciated!
Every cent of your donation will be applied to purchasing items off of family wishlists.
Your donation is tax-deductible: https://www.gofundme.com/c/blog/charitable-donations-tax-deduction
