Harbor-to-Harbor Paddle & Fundraiser
Tax deductible
A small group of friends and family have challenged ourselves to close out the long days of Summer by paddling the 16-mile stretch from Newport Harbor to Dana Point Harbor along the beautiful Southern California coast. However, our Harbor-to-Harbor quest is about more than simply pushing ourselves physically while spending a day on the water with good company. Our primary objective is to raise awareness and money for an incredible organization, A Walk On Water (AWOW), which provides Surf Therapy to children with special needs or disability.
Since launching in 2012, AWOW has welcomed over 1,000 families and provided Surf Therapy to over 2,000 children and adults in need. AWOW's mission is to reach every child in need, especially those who have never had the chance to experience the healing power of Surf Therapy.
Our goal is to raise funds through this paddle that will provide AWOW with the ability to extend their reach and touch the lives of a growing number of these incredible kids.
If you're up for it, please join me in contributing the cause! All donations are tax deductible.
If you'd like to joins us for the paddle, we'll see you on the beach at Corona Del Mar at 6:00am on October 4th. We plan to finish on the sand at Doheny somewhere between 11:00 - 12:00...meet us there!
