Harbor Beach Net System Upgrade

Hi beach & volleyball family !
*UPDATE(5/8/18) - Beach Volleyball family. We did reach the goal of $2,500. Thanks to all !!! Things have been in motion alreday. I debated to raised it a little more. Was hearing, people would like to see the 2" lines too. The nets & slider system is the main goal.Plus still not sure about the poles. Just want to make sure we do it right & it last. Also heard issue with the sand over the years. We will try & work on that too,since they are still working on the project out there. Once again, extra money goes to these extra's & a party !
I've been approach by many of the volleyball ladies that play at the Harbor Beach,about the nets. What would it take to have new nets,ect... I talked to a few already & they where willing to pitch in some money & say others are willing too. They said also lets do a go fund me page,so here it is.
If you didn't know. I've been talking care of the courts & nets for the past few years with my own money(actually since the late 80's).All the lines right now are from me. But actually Cathy Davis has maintain her court over the years & David Yeakel has pitched in when he was doing tournaments & Leo E.(CEP) has helped also.
The talk was about getting the net system that Main Beach has. Awhile back, I was going to do that to just court 2, but I think we all know how that would go. What I believe we all would like to see that on all 4 courts have that slider net system. Who knows how much longer, I would/will be keeping up with the courts. It seemed like , I had to fix them 3 or 4 times last year, due to all the ups & downs with the nets. Plus, i'm not getting any younger,LOL !
So, we are getting a little help finally from The Harbor. They are willing to get the nets(plain). Java Junction, Cafe El Palomar & maybe Carl(2deepSports) , to have their logos on the nets & pitch in more. The slider system which isn't cheap & hopefully will not need new poles. Mark Hull said he was willing to over see the set-up, to make sure we do it right.
That's why I have the amount at $2,500.00. Actually, I would like it to exceed that. Any extra money would go to lines or a party for the people that have contribute. If we don't reach the goal. Whatever money raised, will only fix what we can.
It's been a long time coming. Any question, don't hesitate to ask me.
