Harambee for Eddie Thuo
Dear friends,
In Kenyan tradition, I have started this harambee in order to help out Eddie and Ruth Thuo. A harambee is an event that gathers family and friends together in order to raise funds for unexpected life events, including medical costs.
Our friend and brother in the Lord, Eddie, has COVID-19 and is not doing well. He was admitted to a Nairobi hospital over the weekend and today was rushed to the Intensive Care Unit. They have already had to pay over $2,000 USD for his care and expenses are mounting. For example, the medication, Remdesivir, cost $950 USD. (In Kenya, if you don't pay the money up front, you do not receive the medication or the treatment.) These bills are beyond what Eddie and Ruth can afford and I am asking for your help today. All money raised will go directly to Eddie and Ruth to help pay for his medical needs.
Please prayerfully consider how you can help!
