Hi, I'm Rebecca Chinseu White.

I'm fundraising for Happy Sashota, a bright and determined young man from a very disadvantaged community in Malawi. He comes from Mtengowanthenga—the same rural village where I was born. It's a community of subsistence farmers with no electricity or running water.

Despite these challenges, Happy has excelled in school, earning an impressive 19 points—enough to be selected for university. He dreams of studying Environmental Sciences, but financial constraints are threatening to derail that dream.

All we want is to help him attend university. It costs just a little over $1,000 per year, including room and board.
