Hi, my name is Britny Cloud, I am a 20-year-old Mexican-American director, writer, dancer, and actress. After 15 years of dance and theatre studies, I am now currently a student-filmmaker in Los Angeles. I have directed over 14 films at my school/independently alongside AD work in the indie filmmaking industry on short films, music videos, and specs for feature films.

Studying and finding your voice in such a large city is difficult, and it has come around the time for me to shout out to the world what I have been studying for. I am asking for donations and funding for my last film I must produce in film school, my thesis film, written and directed by me, entitled, "Happy Hour".

"Happy Hour" follows the story of when two best friends, Ben and Katherine, go to their regular hangout, and things don’t go quite as planned celebrating Katherine’s engagement when the memories of their past resurface.

This project has my whole heart, intertwining the reminiscing of the past and the uncertainty and change of the future. Following the influence of my favorite romantic-comedies and coming-of-age stories, this is one for all ages to enjoy.

The funds will be used to secure Locations, Equipment, Rentals, Insurance, Transportation, Talent, Wardrobe, Production Design, Rights, Food, Permits, and much, much more!
