Most families celebrate Father’s Day grilling out, children playing, and enjoying the warm weather. To us, Father’s Day is, and always will be, the day our dad died, alone. We had tried, and tried to call him. We even had the police department make a welfare check and they said they that they made contact and he would call. The call never came. Dad being disabled and fighting a second bout of cancer had few possessions and no life insurance. We would love to give him the send off we think he deserves for being our dad; but we are just trying to raise enough money for a direct cremation, and small memorial event.  If you are one of our friends, or a friend of our dads, every dollar adds up. Thank all of you even if you don’t contribute to the fund, for your very kind words of condolence and thoughts of expression .
