hello!!! its my burfday coming up and a person asked me if I wanted anything and honestly, the greatest gift is company and friendship!!!!!!!!
followed closely by maybe having a home thats warm and safe and has basic amenities. since march, life on the boat has got progressively worse, but currently I am quite swamped in the issues. if you have a spare couple of pennies to throw in a bday pot, id be so incredibly grateful!!!!
I was so lucky to be so LOVED and happy and have such huge support and people being hands on in the summer to help me make my boat water tight for those five weeks of working every day on my boat LONG HOURS (bar the 3 days of concussion recovery) and I could never be more grateful!!! obviously I had no income during this time, and really envisioned this being a limited time thing, and thought that was the work done for now.
Unfortunately NOT THE CASE hahaha. during the last few months, its been a little relentless. work since has been tricky and unfortunately between working on the boat and not really having any recoup reset rest time living on a building site, its getting tricky! the gift of a couple of quid will help me make sure I get the best of the yellow sticker veg and ease a little pressure while I rebuild my home! thank you please thank you x
some of the boat stuff:
- SORTED!! - newest issue is my electrics failing and thats a problem because my boat is taking on water and I need my bilge pump to work so that I dont sink and walking around with a torch in the dark
- I had to destory my sofa and rip up my floor due to finding an unsealed hatch in the desiel tank under the sofa which had been leaking desiel on to the floor in since even before I bought the boat. having to rip up the rotten desiel soaked flooring and everything underneath, no floor has made the boat INCREDIBLY COLD and everything touching the subfloor has got damp and damaging everything touching it
- get a water tank and plump it in
- have a gas engineer reinstall gas
- build a shower and toilet, after having to take out the previous that was rotten
- remove rotten walls and ceiling, reinsulate and rebuild
- build a seating area with a TABLE!!!!!!!!!
- make all the windows stop leaking
- what is up with my log burner?????
- have my prop shaft fixed so I can finally move the boat and move back to London! estimated from boat yard cost minus labour £1500
- engine starter batteries have died and need replacing £400 for batteries, plus wire, connectors and labour
- and everything else
- theres a lot
- (I cant wait to make everything and remake it ORANGE)
