I don’t think anything can top the beautiful birthday celebration that we had for Rigo last year on top of Mammoth Mountain. But I wanted to try. I have set up a fundraiser for Mammoth Mountain Ski Patrol in Rigo’s honor. For those of you who don’t know, this little mountain town that Rigo loved so much has had one too many losses this past year that has included two members of their ski patrol. Rigo always had the utmost respect them, especially after needing their help twice. I couldn’t think of a better way to celebrate him and the love he had for this mountain and its people, while also using this as a way to say thank you for everything this resilient little community has done for him and our family in the last year.
