This October Ellis and I will be walking or jogging every day to complete 33 miles for awareness of food allergies. As a parent, I want him to be included and safe through his childhood. Living with food allergies can make every day life feel risky, and I want to help change that for families like ours.

FARE’s work matters to us because it raises awareness that leads to important initiatives. Initiatives, like the Teal Pumpkin Project, give children with food allergies the chance to enjoy trick-or-treating without fear of an emergency. FARE funds research, education, and advocacy so every child can take part in the celebrations that make childhood memorable.
