Happy 100th Birthday Jan Haines

We are going to be having a few days with a special celebration. If you have been a village member for a long time you all know Jan Haines, she too has been a village member for a long time. Jan has followed us for years and years and she is one amazing person, Jan will turn 100 years old on June 8th and let me tell you it doesn't slow her down a bit.

She follows the stories of all of our rescues and loves watching them of off to their new families. Jan is an amazing knitter and every year has things for us to place in our fall auction to raise funds for the rescue.

They are having a big party for her today in Oregon where she lives but we will celebrate her birthday for the next 5 days.

Jan has asked for this year in lieu of any gifts for her birthday if instead a donation would be made to dog Ranch Rescue which we are of course so very grateful for.

I have started a Gofundme because I think she would love to see how much has been raised in her honor.
