Annabel wants to be a nurse when she grows up. Her family just want to see her grow up. You can help make that happen
Annabel was 4 years old when she was diagnosed with Stage 4 High-Risk Neuroblastoma. An aggressive and dangerous cancer that's responsible for 15% of children's cancer deaths.

Annabel was given 50% survival odds and the doctors told us it would be a long and difficult road. They weren't wrong.
Since then, our brave girl has endured 15 months of treatment including:
Debilitating chemotherapy
Dangerous high-dose chemotherapy
Tumour removal surgery
Proton radiotherapy
Immunotherapy
Stem cell transplant
Countless procedures and scans
Hair loss
Life with intrusive medical lines
And all with a smile and trademark Annabel sass.
She's responded well to treatment and now come to the end of treatment available in the UK. Her lovely hair is growing back and she can't wait to finally start school. Her survival odds are now closer to 75%
But there's a long shadow over her happily ever after - potential relapse.
Relapse for HRN patients has a high mortality rate and claims too many little lives.
There is a drug currently available in America and Australia for children like Annabel called DFMO. It's proven to reduce relapse and increase survival rates to 85%
We think those odds are worth fighting for
The drug is time-critical and needs giving within 3 months of finishing immunotherapy. It is currently going through NHS approval. But this will be too late for Annabel. She needs to start the drug by November at the latest, and that's the earliest it's likely to be approvedby the NHS. We can't take that risk.
So we're trying to raise £105,000 to fund two years of treatment in America for Annabel.
After 15 months receiving unrivalled care in the NHS, Annabel wants to be a nurse when she grows up. We just want her to grow up. Please donate what you can - big or small - to give Annabel her happily ever after

HOW THE MONEY WILL BE USED
- This fundraiser is run by Annabel's mum and dad
- The total of £105,000 comes from costs provided by a UK charity that helps HRN patients access treatment in America. It includes costs for two years of treatment at Penn State including £6,000 for medication, £58,000 for scans and diagnostic tests, £33,000 travel and accommodation, £5,000 pastoral care provision, and £3,000 misc expenses.
- All funds will be transferred to the charity to administer and pay for treatment directly to Penn State.
- If we can move to the NHS track when approved, any excess funds will be put aside for Annabel's future health needs to overcome the longer-term consequences of childhood chemotherapy.
