On February 20, 2026, Wendell “Dub” Hansen, our dad, passed away unexpectedly. Dub’s greatest joy in life was being a grandfather. His grandson brought him immeasurable pride and happiness, and he was eagerly anticipating the arrival of another grandson in the summer of 2026.

Though his life was cut short, his deepest wish would be for his grandchildren to be cared for, supported, and encouraged to pursue whatever educational goals and dreams they set before them. While he will not be here to see those milestones firsthand, his love and belief in them will continue on.

In his honor, our family will equitably distribute funds from the Hansen Family Education Fund to support the educational journeys of current and future grandchildren.
