Hello, I am asking for donations due to the recent passing of my papa Hans and dear husband to my mama Rookia. As his death was sudden, we are all shocked to learn of his death on Wednesday the 28th of January 2026 in Dubai. He was a loving father and a dear friend and partner to my mama.

He was an extraordinary business man having dedicated his life to the shipping industry since he was a young man in his twenties, he enjoyed travelling as much as he could as well as meeting new people along the way and making lifelong friends wherever he went. We are all mourning deeply with the incomprehensible loss of Hans.

We will be holding a ceremony in Dubai with an date that has yet to be determined and his final rites will be done in Denmark where he will be laid to rest alongside with his parents.

Unfortunately due to the sudden timing of his death and circumstances beyond our control, we are unable to legally control his assets as the legal proceedings are lengthy and can take anywhere from 4-9 months or even longer to complete.

We are looking to do a memorial in Dubai and a final church service in Aalborg, Denmark.

His last wish was to be cremated and buried in Denmark.
