Hans Esser-Stolen Mobility Scooter

My name is Gary Lea-Wilson I am a good friend and long time neighbour of Hans.

Hans is an 85 year old senior who is a big part of our community. He loves to get out as much as he can, go for coffee two or three times a day, communicate with his friends and not be reliant on friends for errands and business.

On October 3rd at 4:00 in the morning two men were seen in his yard by a passerby. When the passerby returned from picking up a coffee, he noticed Han' electric scooter cover was thrown out into the greenway. When Hans, who is 85, woke at 7am his scooter was gone. We were all shocked that someone would actually steal a scooter from someone who is so well known, generous and kind and has been in this neighbourhood for over 40 years, on the same block.

Hans was depending on his scooter because he was recently released from the hospital for "extreme mobility issues with his feet. He is now using his walker but for long trips it is very painful.
