I’m Amanda from Bath England, I used a tour company from Hanover in Feb.

All funds will be spent on rebuilding houses in community, buying gas for generators, food or any aid they need. This is not just a week long disaster this is long term with near on all losing homes and jobs.

As some may know I visited Jamaica in Feb absolute paradise so I worked hard to book another holiday due next week (I found my peaceful place finally) booked ready to go excursions booked in with my tour guide…and Melissa strikes, awful she’s destroyed a lot but not the strength of the people!!

Jamaica is paradise…..unfortunately as we all know much/mostly of Jamaica has been hit by hurricane Melissa leaving many homeless, roofless without internet & light this is putting it mildly the devastating effects will last for long time, but the locals still smile and have faith…..strong people!!

I want to do something personal to those who looked after me on the island who made tours knowledgeable, friendly and kept me safe .

Jamaica relies on tourism, farming and plantation this week they have lost everything it’s unimaginable for many of us!!

I’d like to raise any amount of money for my tour guide, his family (father of 2) and his community.
