Hanna's Battle Against Lung & Brain Cancer
Donation protected
Our dear friend Hanna Pitter - to know her is to love her - has been diagnosed with Neuroendocrine Carcinoma - a rare form of cancer that begins in the neuroendocrine system, in Hanna’s case originating in her lung - with metastases to her brain and ovary. As most of you know, Hanna was set to graduate with her Master's degree in August and become a Physician Assistant; instead, she will now be undergoing whole-brain radiation followed by systemic chemotherapy over the upcoming weeks and months. To say this diagnosis came as a shock is an understatement, but Hanna has kept her positive outlook and is ready to fight.
To minimize unnecessary stress and keep Hanna and her family's strength and energy focused on her health, we hope donations will help cover extra costs that come along with a cancer diagnosis. Even with good insurance, out-of-pocket expenses can add up very quickly with medications, treatments, and procedures, among many other things. Anything you can donate is highly appreciated. If you can't donate money now, love and prayers are also needed and equally appreciated. Thank you so much for your support.
