Hey, everyone!
I'M OFF ON A (last minute) ADVENTURE !
I am so excited to announce that I’ve been accepted onto a 6 month course with Youth With A Mission (YWAM) in Kauai, Hawaii. YWAM is a global organisation for young Christians dedicated to making a difference and spreading God’s love through practical help and teaching.
The programme has two 3-month phases – firstly the training part, based in Kauai. You may be thinking wow Hawaii isn’t a hard place to live. However, the truth behind the Island is a very broken group of people. There are high rates of teen suicide, drug abuse, and domestic violence. During local outreach, I will be involved in reaching out to these hurting people and the rest of the community. This will be followed by 3 months applying all we have learnt to bless and benefit the wonderful people of Papua New Guinea.
The plan is to join a training programme STARTING IN 2 WEEKS! This means I have a short time to raise the necessary funding to cover the whole course, immunisations, insurance, visas etc. The total I need to raise is £6000.
If you feel you would like to donate to my finances I want to say a massive thank you as your donation to this trip will not only affect my life but also the people that I will be working with in Papua New Guinea – helping spread God’s love and care.
I am so thrilled to be able to be a part of this and I am so grateful that I have been given this opportunity to embark on this adventure. I cannot wait to share this journey with you all.
