Help Support Hannah & Her Family Through Medical Crisis

Hannah Rossiter is only 19. She’s a lead preschool teacher with her whole life ahead of her! She needs immediate surgery due to a tumor that has been discovered. This fundraiser will help cover travel, lodging, meals, medical expenses, and recovery costs so her family can be by her side.

She recently began experiencing dizziness and numbness of her limbs, and scans revealed the heartbreaking truth. Her surgery means urgent trips from Lewiston to Spokane, hotel stays, meals, and an uncertain recovery period.

Hannah’s Family’s Challenges

This crisis comes on top of unimaginable hardship her family has already endured.

This past November Hannah’s dad, Dustin (39), suffered a rupture between his shoulder blades that left him paralyzed from just below his arms down. Overnight, the family’s primary breadwinner lost mobility, independence, and the ability to work. The toll has been enormous—physically, emotionally, and financially—as Dustin continues adjusting to his new reality as a husband and father now living with paralysis. Hannah’s mom has become his full-time caregiver.

Hannah’s grandfather, still recovering from esophageal cancer, has picked up much of the weight in the face of Dustin’s physical limitations. Her grandmother has taken on the complex tasks of managing finances, and handling day-to-day logistics so their daughter, Kery, can focus on caregiving.

Every member of the family has stretched beyond what they thought possible just to keep life afloat. And now, in the midst of this, Hannah’s diagnosis has added another heartbreaking weight.

Why This Matters Now

Even through cancer, paralysis, and months of upheaval, there has never been a GoFundMe for this family. They have always leaned on self-reliance, on one another, and on their deep faith in God to get through life’s obstacles.

But Hannah’s fight is too important to face alone.

Hannah’s Bright Future

Hannah has her whole life ahead of her. The photo here was taken at her high school graduation party just last summer. Today, she is working as a lead preschool teacher, pouring love and energy into children while planning for a future of giving back to her community.

She should be planning her future—not fighting for it. With your help, she can recover surrounded by her family and return to doing what she loves: teaching, giving back, and living the full life she deserves.

How You Can Help

Your donations will go directly toward:
• Travel between Lewiston and Spokane
• Hotel stays and meals during her treatment
• Medical bills and follow-up appointments
• Therapies and recovery support
• Time away from work for caregivers so they can remain by her side

Every dollar—no matter the size—helps ease these burdens so Hannah and her family can focus on what matters most: her healing and their continued strength together.

A Family Defined by Courage

What makes the Rossiter & Bursch families remarkable is not only what they have endured, but how they have endured it—together. Through cancer, paralysis, and now a tumor diagnosis, they have shown resilience, love, and an unwavering ability to care for one another in the darkest moments. Above all, their deep faith in God continues to guide and sustain them through each trial.

But no family should walk this path alone. That’s why we are reaching out now—to surround Hannah and the family with the financial and emotional support they so desperately need.
