Hannah's Journey To Victory
Donation protected
"The Lord is great and greatly to be praised" are the first words I have read on multiple Facebook post updates from my friend Kevin about his sweet daughter Hannah.
My name is Bethany, and I'm starting this Go Fund Me page (with my friend Kevin's permission) to show some love and support to his only child, Hannah Danforth. Hannah is a beautiful and sweet girl with a huge smile. Hannah graduated high school in May of 2021, and during a time when most 18 year olds are getting ready to start college, Hannah was instead diagnosed on July 26th with Type B Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL). The doctors at Riley Hospital for Children immediately started aggressive treatment, and since then Hannah has been admitted to Riley four times for complications. She will continue treatment for at least 2 1/2 years.
As one would imagine, on top of the emotional stress of seeing your precious child incredibly ill, this has also been financially stressful. Hannah's mom, Linda, is off work so she can take care of her sweet girl. And then my very dear friend, Kevin, has missed a lot of work during Hannah's hospitalizations. Kevin is an officer at the hospital where I am employed. And let me take a moment to tell you about Kevin. Kevin is not only an officer, but a minister. This man loves the Lord with all his heart. He is always takes the time to come check on, encourage, and pray for hospital staff. And while this man has saved my butt (and many other staff members butts) from getting beat by crazy patients more times then I can count, and while work is a better and safer place when he is there. . . Hannah needs him with her more.
If you feel led, would you mind donating a few dollars to lighten the financial load on the Danforth family, so they can focus their time and attention on sweet Hannah? And if you can't give financially, that's okay! Pray! Your prayers are absolutely coveted and precious! Thank you for loving, support, and praying for the Danforth Family!
