Hannah's Journey: Facing Cancer Again

Hello, Planet Earth! This is Hannah. Hannah was recently diagnosed with breast cancer. Again...

Hannah was first diagnosed with right breast cancer two years ago. She underwent a total right breast mastectomy and had to have several revision surgeries. She got all that out of the way and behind her, and now her left breast has a new cancer. So, her journey this time around will be much different than the first.

Hannah will need chemotherapy and surgery and potentially other treatments like radiation and/or more. This is a lot for anyone to endure, let alone a 29-year-old who is just hoping to live a happy, healthy existence. Nobody should have to deal with cancer at this age! For Hannah, this journey means perhaps having to reconsider her future family plans, her work schedule will be interrupted, and we all know that life doesn’t become less expensive for us when we encounter these obstacles. Treatments will take a physical and emotional toll, and we want Hannah to be prepared and have a safety net during this time.
