We are raising money to help fund the return of our beautiful mum (and wife) to her homeland - Ireland. Whilst Australia is also a huge part of her life, Mum's brothers, sisters and parents are all buried in a family plot in the most beautiful site in Ireland. We would love to find a way to fly her ashes back to Ireland with Dad (who is also undergoing treatment for terminal cancer). Dad is simply heartbroken at the moment as Mum was his everything.... His soulmate, best friend and purpose. Returning mum's ashes to Ireland will also allow Dad to be surrounded by family, friends and feel connected to mum. We are not sure if Dad will be well enough to fly by the time we raise funds, but we do know that a goal such as this is the best shot at giving him a new sense of purpose.
