Hannah had a bad fall to kick off November, and after a long ER visit, 8 stitches in her mouth, and every test you can imagine, she’s home with recovery ahead. Her service dog, Lemon, is working hard (pictured above).
The hopeful part of this full-on crash into pavement is that the ER physician took Hannah’s symptoms very seriously and ordered tests, imaging, and specialist follow-ups! Hannah has officially been diagnosed with POTS and can start getting help managing it. We expect at least one more diagnosis to name her symptoms is on the way.
In the meantime, she has unexpected hospital bills, dental bills (this fall was not cute), and rent to pay while she recovers. Anything you can give will help Hannah start this new era of Doctors Being Very Helpful and Naming Lifelong Illnesses, receiving real treatment, and resting.
