Hannah Jones-Heden Lymphoma Support

Here is my story... Hannah Jones-Heden is my friend and a mentee of mine - she has been recently diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma Cancer,  she turned 24 a few days ago - and is about to go on the journey of her life - literally fighting for her life and future!  

She is married to Matt Heden a youth pastor - the love of her life, and they are in this together... They are an incredible couple who have devoted their lives to helping underserved youth  at Hilltop Community Church in Richmond, California.  Hannah is also a dedicated employee of Gap Inc ... I get the privilege of working with her... She is now off of work to get the treatment she desperately needs.  

As we all know - life has a way of throwing curve balls and being diagnosed with Cancer is one of those situations that no one plans for - especially when you are 24.  Hannah is receiving treatment for her Lymphoma Cancer at Stanford Hospital in Palo Alto, California - which is a long drive from Richmond... Over the next 16 weeks she will be receiving Chemo and Radiation treatment at Stanford...

With treatment comes a whole bunch of expenses that quite honestly  are super expensive.  This fundraiser is intended to cover the cost of gas to go back and forth, any parking costs as a result of Drs appointements and treatment follow up, hospital food, a wig that doesnt look like Barbie hair,  the overnight stay in a hotel for the daily radiation treatments and most importantly the prescriptions that are not covered by a co pay  (some are as high as $400) - all of these costs can become completely overwhelming.  

Hannah and Matt could use our help - they know God is their provider and are fully trusting Him for her healing and their help - but as a community of people who love them,  and who are cheering them on - making the burden a whole lot easier is what Im hoping for with this fund raising campaign.  

Many people have asked how they can help..  So Im gonna say please give.  All gifts will help - from small to generous - please consider!
