Hannah Webber's Recovery Fund
Donation protected
Please help my sister fight for her life. My sister, Hannah Webber, was recently released from the hospital with bilateral deep vein thrombosis and bilateral pulmonary embolism. She is 32, and otherwise extremely active and healthy with no underlying conditions or risk factors. She is currently enrolled as a full-time nursing student and working full-time while also raising two young children. After 6 days in the hospital, 2 days in ICU and 2 surgeries, her medical bills are significant. In addition to her $8,000 insurance deductible, Hannah will be paying at least $500 per month in medications not covered by insurance, but necessary for her survival.
She is hoping to continue nursing school full-time throughout her recovery, but it is unlikely that she'll be able to also continue working full-time, as she needs time to rest and attend her many specialist doctor appointments, adding to her financial burden.
Hannah still has not received any formal diagnosis to help explain why this happened, and her road to recovery is long. Please consider donating whatever you can to help cover her medical expenses and allow her to continue providing a roof and food for her kids.
