Hannah Wadiso Medical Bills and Family Support

On Memorial Day weekend, Hannah Wadiso was celebrating her recent graduation when she was tragically pinned under a car during the horrific crash on O street in Lincoln, Nebraska. Her pelvis was crushed and she is hospitalized with at least 10 weeks of rehabilitation planned.

Her father Tesfaye has expressed his immense gratitude for the people who pulled the car off his daughter and saved her life.

I was so moved when I saw this story on the news. I immediately recognized Tesfaye as the owner of the old African restaurant on 27th street (now closed). He was always such a wonderful, friendly man! I immediately reached out to him and asked how I could help, offering to start this fundraiser - as the family is facing immense medical bills and caring for another child with special needs as well at home.
