My name is Hannah Frohne, and I'm thrilled to share that I've been accepted to student-teach in Luxembourg through UW-Whitewater's study abroad program. For five weeks, I'll have the incredible opportunity to teach at an international school in the rural, northern part of the country—and I'll be the only music education major in our group, joining three English majors on this journey.

Music education has been my passion for the past four years of college. I've worked hard to learn everything I can at UW-Whitewater, and this student-teaching experience abroad is the next step in that journey. In Luxembourg, music is woven into the fabric of education in ways that differ from U.S. schools. I want to see firsthand how they approach music teaching and bring those insights back to my future classroom here in Wisconsin.

However, participating in this program comes with significant costs—program fees, tuition, airfare, and living expenses. While I'm working hard to cover as much as I can, I'm reaching out for support to help bridge the gap.
