For my capstone film finishing off my bachelors degree at VCUarts, I will be pursuing a documentary film. The film will be diving into themes dealing with the longing for ultimate freedom, the intense need for solitude, and the quest for acceptance of self. The film will explore crucial elements about being in your mid twenties and not fulfilling the typical status-quo. It will be a film to inspire the new generation, a film to erase normatives about what it means to be on the road alone, while exploring all that was created and reconnecting with the deepest inner parts of ourselves. The trip will be a 34 day solo road trip, beginning in Virginia, and will travel through 24 states, with main attractions of the film devoted to some of the most serene and isolated portions of the country. In all of the places I will be traveling, I will be camping to fully immerse myself within the creation of the piece. I have realized that my calling in film belongs in the great outdoors, and fully believe that this a passion piece that needs to be made to benefit the community. I will be launching this trip from September 26- October 29, 2020.
To fully realize this film, and to be able to take it with me beyond college, I will need your help. The cost of creating a film like this is not small, but very crucial to the development of my career, as well as graduating my university with honors. Costs of the film will include equipment rental and overall traveling expenses. Your donations will go a long way towards me getting to the finish line!

Donations $250 and up will receive an Associate Producer credit on the film.
Donations $500 and up will receive an Executive Producer credit on the film.
