On 8th September 2026, our family lost a truly incredible woman. Hannah lost her long fight with Graft-Versus-Host disease, which she developed after battling Acute Myeloid Leukaemia. Leaving behind Noah, just 4 years old, Daisy, only 2. and her beloved husband Liam.
After being diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukaemia (AML) in 2024, she faced one of the hardest battles imaginable. Despite everything she endured, she fought with incredible strength and determination. Following a stem cell transplant, we were overjoyed when she reached remission and hoped that the worst was finally behind her.
Sadly, her journey took another devastating turn. She developed Graft-Versus-Host Disease (GVHD) as a complication of the transplant, caused by the new donor cells attacking her body. Despite the efforts of her medical team and everything she and our family did to fight this terrible illness, she sadly passed away on 8th September, 2026.
Nothing can prepare a family for losing someone so loved, especially a young mum with so much life still ahead of her, she genuinely was a beautiful person inside and out.
Liam is now facing the unimaginable task of raising their two children without her. With Daisy only 2 years old and not yet in full-time school, Liam will need to stay at home to care for both children while they navigate life without their Mum.
We are setting up this fundraiser to help give our family some financial breathing space during this incredibly painful time.
The funds raised will go towards the costs of her funeral, which we are referring to as a celebration of her life, allowing us to give her the beautiful farewell she deserves, while also helping to support Liam and the children with the financial burden that comes with losing a wife and Mum so suddenly.
Our greatest hope is that we can give our daughter, sister, wife and mummy the loving farewell she deserves, and help Liam and the children through the difficult months ahead.
She fought so incredibly hard, and she will be loved and missed every single day.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for any support, kindness, messages and shares. We know that times are difficult for everyone, and there is absolutely no pressure to donate.
