Hannah Mitchell's Memorial Fund

Donation protected
The day you are born, you begin the journey to death. The mark you leave on this world is in the way you live your life with the time you have.  Hannah Mitchell made her mark and was loved so deeply by friends, family, and strangers alike. Hannah was a beautiful person inside and out. The ones who had the chance to meet her couldn't tell you other wise. Unfortunately we are here in a position we never thought we would be in. We had to say goodbye sooner than we thought.

Our beautiful niece, Hannah, unexpectedly passed away June 6, 2019, from complications due to Cystic Fibrosis. She was still such a baby at only 20 years old, her whole life ahead of her. Hannah had such a zest for life! She had a smile for every stranger, a giggle for every frown, a hug for every tear, she held every person that she met in her heart. She will always be so very special.

Hannah fought a courageous battle against Cystic Fibrosis for 20 years... in and out of hospitals, always being positive and treating these hospitalizations as a new adventures. And adventures they were!  The many "escapes" from the Children's Unit at Dartmouth Hitchcock...
dodging the hospital staff,  fleeing to the safety of the stairwell, visiting the creepy dog statue at the local pet store down the street,
and having a proper lunch before sneaking back for her next treatment.
She knew every inch of DHMC! Hannah always made everything fun, she was our bright light and now she is our angel.

We are Hannah's favorite aunts, Patty, Marion, Kristin, Trish, and Jodi and we wanted to help by setting up this page so that, financially, Hannah's family can give their baby girl a send off that she deserves without worry. We ask for your help during this difficult time. All donations will go towards funeral expenses so that Hannah's parents, Jay and Tamie, and little sissy, Hailey can grieve without the stress of finances.

Hannah's funeral services will be held next weekend at McHugh Funeral Home  in Manchester, NH with a burial at St Joseph's Cemetery in Bedford, NH.

Thank you for all your kind support through this devasting loss.
